Version v3.1 (30 Oct 2026) · effective 31 Oct 2026

This page explains how we look after your information when you use our website, the terms for using the site, how to ask for information we hold, and what to do if something goes wrong. We've kept it short and clear. IJG Holdings Group's entities are regulated by the Namibia Financial Institutions and Markets Authority (NAMFISA) under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021.

What we collect

When you use our website or get in touch, we may collect: - what you give us — your name and contact details, anything you send through an enquiry or application form or our WhatsApp chat, and your login details if you use an online account; - what we collect automatically — your IP address, device and browser, which our website needs to work and stay secure; and - cookies — small files that help the site work properly. We do not use cookies to collect visitor statistics. The map on our Contact Us page and our WhatsApp chat button are provided by other companies and may set their own cookies. You can control cookies in your browser.

How we use it

We use your information to: - reply to you; - provide and manage our services and your account; - keep the website running and secure; - meet our legal and regulatory obligations; and - stay in touch with you about your dealings with us. We only use your information for the reason we collected it, unless the law allows otherwise or you agree. Your information belongs to you — we simply look after it on your behalf.

When we share it

We only share your information with someone else if you agree, or if the law allows or requires it. Where we use service providers (for example IT or hosting), we require them by contract to protect your information and use it only for the agreed purpose. Our Contact Us page shows a map provided by Google, and our website has a chat button provided by WhatsApp. When you view the map or use the chat button, Google or WhatsApp may collect information such as your IP address and device details, and they handle it under their own privacy policies. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and your messages, and we use them only to reply to you and help with your enquiry.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it and as the law requires. After that, we delete it securely.

Keeping it safe

We use appropriate security measures to protect your information and keep it confidential, with extra care for sensitive details such as your financial and identity information.

Your rights

You can: - ask what we hold about you and see it; - give or withdraw your consent to us sharing it, where the law allows; and - have it kept confidential and used only for the reason we collected it. To use any of these, just contact us using the details under Contact us.

Access to information

You can ask us for the personal information we hold about you at any time while we are providing you a service. We may check your identity first, and there may be some information we cannot share — for example, if it is confidential to someone else — in which case we will tell you why.

Complaints

If you are unhappy, please tell us — it is free and we will not make it difficult. You can reach us by email at [email protected], by phone at +264 819583500, or in person at 4th Floor, 1@Steps, C/O Grove and Chasie Street, Kleine Kuppe, Windhoek. A senior manager oversees complaints. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours, look into it fairly, keep you updated, and revert within 7 business days. If the matter takes more than seven (7) working days for us to investigate, we will keep you informed of the expected timeframe. If you are still not satisfied once you have been through our process, you can take your complaint to our regulator, NAMFISA, at [email protected]. We keep a record of complaints for as long as the law requires.
